As of Wednesday, April 25, the Prairie County Sheriff's Department currently have nine arrested individuals in custody on both felony and misdemeanor charges.

Recent arrests include:

• Dylan E. Massey was arrested on a second-degree battery, fleeing and obstructing governmental operations. Charges include a felony arrest. 
• Joe Lesure was arrested on a probation revocation, which is a felony charge. 
• Courtney Dorman was charge with two contempt of court charges. 
• An unnamed suspect was arrested on drug charges and is being held for a probable cause hearing. The name is not being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
